EYPS Conference, 14th July 2009: The Key Person Approach
A number of people who came to this seminar at the 2009 EYPS Event in Birmingham have got in touch for a copy of my PowerPoint ... so here it is.
This one really divided people - there were quite a lot of people in the audience who disagreed with the approach discussed here, and I think we had an interesting debate. Later several people came and spoke to me individually to say how much they supported the development of the Key Person Approach and I also got a few emails. I have co-written a chapter on this subject with Peter Elfer for the new edition of Early Childhood: A Guide for Students (edited by Tina Bruce) which will appear later in 2009.
